BWC’s School Safety and Security Grant Program

We recently launched the School Safety and Security Grant (SSSG) Program to help Ohio employers ensure the safety of their staff when carrying out the instructional services they provide to children. The program is for eligible Ohio employers who wish to purchase equipment to substantially improve the safety and security of facilities and to reduce or eliminate injuries or illnesses associated with providing educational services to children.

The SSSG Program is available only to Ohio employers that operate licensed preschool through 12th grade educational facilities.

Employers may receive up to $40,000 for the duration of the SSSG Program. This is a 3-to-1 matching grant, which means employers receive $3 for every $1 they contribute. You can review eligibility criteria and apply on our SSSG Program webpage.
